It crashes applications, kills long-running processes, and never once asks permission. It's your machine — you should be the one who decides when updates install, not Windows.

WUCP and TMCP lock that decision down and keep it locked — unlike a registry hack you set once and hope holds, they check and re-apply themselves every two hours, because Windows never stops trying to undo it.
